Was that the case for you...?

Installers Hall of Shame [out of date] shows the toolbar was an issue once...So, the question is, no uninstallable components? It's just a case of some housekeeping?

I installed the .054 build and the toolbar, etc, were optional. I don't know exactly what's going on with .057, but you can always disable the toolbar, remove the search entry and change the homepage afterward. That's what I meant by being able to undue the changes.

Zone Alarm Free [FW and FW+AV] version 11.0.000.057 appears to have installer issues?

    https://www.zonealarm.com/forums/showthread.php/79448-error-code-127-and-1603?p=296318#post296318

Mod has recommended to poster to do a clean uninstall of v.057 and reinstall v.055.

I'm not sure if this advice applies globally [since v.057 changelog mentions only "optimised installer"] , or just to the poster.

May be wise to install / wait for next version update and stay with v.055?

    -cheers

I am afraid but the changes to the installer since 057 are by design not a bug :)

Hope new version comes out by the time Avast 8 is released.

In the mean time I'm staying away from it.

    -cheers,

My mistake, you actually have an option to skip all at install
    Sorry for the oversight!
