Any emails I send them have been responded to within about 12 hours. :D the new one created alot of bugs on mine. Forcefield crashes the first time its loaded after boot up no idea why. I have sent in about 12 tickets now had a response for everyone but the forcefield one I'm guessing because they are digging Thur the memory logs and the kernel dump I sent them. Eager for a response on that one. :D

The new beta seems to be having problems from forcefield 3 of my systems it crash constantly now. I would recommend waiting tell the next beta version before trying again.

In my case booting with ZA8 is considerably slower than 7.4....
Time for a reinstall and report to ZA if it stays like this!

    ForceField works fine here.

    Cheers,

V8 turned my computer into a lemon. Firefox crashes, boot up is slow. I submitted report but I will have to use old solution.

I got a response back that my problem is because of Firefox 3.0 and ZA not compatible with it at this time.

Was this on the known issues list?

AE also had issues with FF3. Why on earth are they having these problems? I know ZA is still in beta but ffs FF is such a popular browser. Shame on Faronics too, AE was out of beta and they still had the problem.

Its related to ForceField and not ZA firewall.
ZASS beta works fine with FF3.

Actually Extreme beta 8 has been removed from the beta page.
This is probably due to ForceField issues.

    Cheers,
    Fax
EDIT: Latest ZASS 8.0.006.000 seems to have fixed my slow startup!

Probably the smart thing to do. Maybe my computer is just a underpowered piece of ****. Any kind of behavior blocking drastically slows its performance.

    Preparation:

Please make sure your machine is all set up before you install our latest beta software. By installing some recommended tools you will help us to make this Beta more successful and your beta reports even more valuable.

    Version currently in testing:

    ZoneAlarm Security Suite 8.0.006.000 (32-bit)

    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 7.4.006.000 (32-bit)

Still shows up as the recall for me after clearing everything. they recalled back a day or so ago due to forcefield being completely bonkers.
