With so many protection areas overlapping, how safe is it to run products like e.g. ZA together with others, let's say for instance, The Cleaner? Does this make sense? Do they hinder each other? Would my PC be more at risk than before? Would it crash more likely? Andreas
Hi Andreas ... and welcome to Wilders Where problems are likely to occur is if you run two applications doing the same thing simultaneously. eg. 2 firewalls or 2 AV's scanning real time. Having multiple applications doing different jobs should not be a problem, however, there is always the chance some applications may not get along. It is not uncommon to see multi-function security applications now, so there is potential for some overlap. It is just a matter of finding the right combination that suits your needs, which is sometime easier said than done Regards, CrazyM
