ZeuS Trojan? Or? Please Help

Ignore my sig, this is wife's W7 laptop. She has been unable to compose a Yahoo mail in IE9 or FF18 in her acct. Specifically will not except keystrokes. I have no such problem with my acct on same lap & browsers. She took it upon herself (I have to sleep Sometimes) to dial a number she found on a Yahoo Help page. Long story short, she ends up d'l Ammmy, a guy named Sid Hartha (omg, Really?) says she has Zeus. Some service (geeks crew, nerdsRus, something like that )will remove for only $500 US.

So my questions:
What can be causing her mail acct to act flaky. We Do Not use separate W7 user accts, it's her machine but I have to clean up, update, etc...?

I ran ZBot Trojan Remover as I have seen recommended here- nothing found.

Where do I find this ammmy crap to remove all vestiges.

Could I have an even bigger problem?

If your profile is fine, hers might be corrupted. Create new profile and test.
