Don't know why is it happening, probably some Microsoft's nonsense.

 

every so often zam.exe has a burst of high cpu usage, this is with real time protection disabled.

Is this expected behaviour? seems to only occur when I have a lot of apps running.

 

What has VoodooShield got to do with ZAM?

I should be ok to post since it isn't noon yet. And so I won't have had anything extra added mu bowl as of yet.

Was looking at Report and what is in quarantine but not sure what I am seeing. The report shows malicious objects detected on June 6th. Right clicking shows it was the flag for the DNS thing caused by Heidmal but when I look in quarantine it only shows the one exe from April 15th. Is it coorect all malicious objects are just catches but actual exe's? I mean do you think they should all be labeled the same?

Here it goes again. ZAM can't update because it's stuck at the nth percent. Then, it fails after a few minutes, blaming my internet connection. @ida15 server issue again?

Edit: Yes! Finally! After about 3 more tries (failed, then try to update again) after I made my post, download and update got successful within 15-20 seconds. See the difference? My internet connection was never an issue. So I think the problem is with the server again, just like what Ida confirmed in the past.

 

ZAM updated just a minute ago, without any issue.
It took less than a minute.

My guess is that Zemana has several servers for several countries/regions. If one server is having hiccups, then that region will have problems at updates.
Ida already confirmed in the past about ZAM not updating successfully, telling me that it's because of their servers.

 

Updates go slick & fast for me.

Did you turn on something in advance settings which warned you before turning it on,if so turn it off.
