That should be fixed now, at least I didn't notice any issue with it. Thanks for heads up :)

Ok sorry. I click on the setup file , setup GUI goes through Accept then green progress bar goes across and setup stops and goes no further. I don't know what else to tell you.

That info will help. Also you can Click on send feed back and tell them what's happening that info will go right to the Developers.

Will do. From your experience how would you rank malwarebytes, hitman pro and zemana in terms of detection and removal?

What I've seen on my machines I give them all a 10, ZAM has been impressing me more with every update, that SW has came a long way since it's public introduction and is a main arsenal in my armor.

I've found layered protection is outstanding with these three.

I am only guessing here but maybe it detects I have Quietzone installed and won't install. I however won't install anything that won't install with Quietzone active.

    @boredog

Can you give us more info? What is your operating system, which security software are you using, do you get any warnings/prompts during install and similar things. Do you have administrator rights?

I do run with ADMIN rights.

    Windows 10 home

    Malwarebytes Lifetime
    Malwarbytes Anti-exploit paid
    Windows Defender
    Heimdal Pro

    AdGuard

    WinAntiransom Plus
Quietzone Which has it's forum right here at Wilders.

    No warnings.
I am pretty sure it will install without having Quietzone active. Could someone verify please?
I my life I have used them all, Sanboxie, Shadowdefender, Ect and I chose Quitezone
Along with Marcum Reflect of course.

No, Zemana doesn't scan which programs you have installed to choose will it install or not. Something is blocking it and probably some of the tools you have.

It's probably WinAntiRansom. It typically blocks without giving an alert. Check to make sure the installer is whitelisted under program configuration page in WAR.

Ok to clear up any confusion , no it was not WAR. When I did an install without Quietzone being active it installed fine. So yes it is looking for a sandbox like feature or another before it will install.

This shows me how many of you actually use Quietzone.
I went against my rule of not installing anything thing that requires a reboot or won't install when Quietzone is active. You made me do it. I hope I don't regret it.

Now after I had installed then ran a scan & it found three items. I uninstalled. reinstalled this morning with Quietzone enabled and it then installs fine and remembered it had found three items before. One claimed to be a DNS Highjack. I think Heimdal uses 127.0.0.1 and that is what the found file was pointing at. I select repair. Repair completes and I do a scan and it detects it again right away.

    Status : Scanned
    Object : Wi-Fi 127.0.0.1

    Detection : DNS Hijack
    Cleaning Action : Repair

Me too, except I think Zemana is inching up toward an 11 on the 10 scale.

Yes, we are aware of issue with Heimdal DNS Hijack, but I am not sure when it will be fixed. If you could attach Zemana Scan report with this detection it would help speeding things up.

Here is just one of the repetitive scans

The last time I did a scan I hit the report as safe button and don't see it detecting the Highjack now.
