I think it's better to cover the licence code with link "Show licence". Now it just shows the code when the key symbol is pressed.

It's better to write "Activate another licence". Current button reads "Activate Now" as if the lic isn't activated yet.

Under report path icon it also when update changes the date and time. Other than that know other problem. like the product.

What do you mean exactly? It obviously uses the definitions from all the engines it uses.

Starting the PC every morning there an issue with when I first open Zemana AntiMalware 2 Beta?
A couple of black spots on left hand side of Zemana AntiMalware 2 Beta! Additionally,where the
cursor has a blue ball spinning. Something is not loading correctly from Zemana AntiMalware 2 Beta?
After you end the process and restart then everything is okay.

Personally, I hate the reports as well We are working hard to make them more user friendly. It would be great to know if there is any additional information you would like to see in the reports.

This is confirmed issue and it is annoying. We will fix this next week.

 

I like to keep zemana service to manual and only start it when I want to scan my system. But after each update it switches from manual to automatic and starts during next system startup. Can this be changed so that it remembers the service type during an update and does not go to the default automatic service type ?

 

For the moment, this is not possible because service takes place in the installation and update so we need it up and running. Btw, it only consumes 5-10 MBs of memory and so it is very lightweight.

 

Small text typo....
During update from previous beta version, it says "Downloading %n".
It should be "Downloading n%".

Maybe this was already answered, but does this have any kind of relation with Hitman Pro? or it's a completely separated product?
Do the share source code, or databases...?

What is the roadmap for this app? is the intention just to make an on demand scanner?

Thanks for the input. Tho I’m still interested in an explanation on how when installed from the same exe, there are users running a “portable” (no service) and others an “installed” (as a service).

Looking forward to the fix.

In addition to all the auxiliary files and folders scattered throughout the users AppData stores I’ve documented in previous posts, I’ve found several zam-shadow-copy-record files in my user AppData\Local\Temp. Again, I recognize these serve a purpose but not within the construct of a portable app.

Otherwise, my installation is running solid and stable. The option to select engines... Nice.

Giving it a try, did a scan, picked up adwcleaner, a false positive.

Also, why when I click on the key it always says Activate Now, shouldn't we just have to activate once? Everytime I click on the key it says this.

 

Why the program starts at boot? if it's just an on demand scanner what for does it need to start a boot?

Looks like there is a digital signature corruption. Can you please rar the file with encrypt filenames option checked and send it to emre at zemana com? Also, seeing the detections would help us as well. Please click on the detection and take a screenshot. Thanks for ur help!

 

I manually scanned ZAM.exe and it was not detected.

 

What about "Clear" option under Reports?

 

Is this real time protection or on demand?
