Yup, got that one but through the download option on the web site rather than through the built in updater?

NOTE: Latest versions are are not shared via automatic updates immediately. Usually automatic updates are scheduled with a week, but always you can get the latest version manually from here , for portable version here.

The one great advantage I find this has over a similar product is its option to IGNORE a file...ie..It will not flag the file again and again on subsequent scans...And the development is very good.

    Hello,

We have checked over and over again but there are no issues about remove portable. Can you please share a screenshot of commandline after you execute ZAM[version].exe /remove_portable command?

Please make sure that the current directory for cmd.exe is the one ZAM resides in since the in mail we got through support had this problem.

    Thanks

OK. Here is the issue: You are trying to run ZAM.exe which should be resident at K drive but since it is not there, Windows tells you that "ZAM.exe is not recognized as an internal....". This will be the case for any executable out there...

If you'd like to execute an EXE file from commandline, you have 2 options:
    Let's say ZAM.exe is located at C:\Programs\ZAM.exe
    A.
    1. Open command prompt and CD to "C:\Programs" folder
    2. Run "ZAM.exe /remove_portable"

    B.
    1. Open command prompt
    2. Type the full path of EXE file which is "C:\Programs\ZAM.exe" followed by /remove_portable

If you are still unable to make it work, please let me know.

You can see an example below:

    @ Emre TINAZTEPE,
    1) Solved, but it's too complicated imo=
    /remove_portable
    ZAM.exe /remove_portable

in my case the correct command is= "ZAMv2.9.1.440.exe /remove_portable"
    See also the screenshot below.

    2) The other bug remains=

I have a PC on which I use 2 user accounts.

(Why) do I have to activate ZAM for each user, instead of once for all?

Something weird happened yesterday. Anyway I was downloading the Sims 2 Ultimate Edition from Ea which was a freebie. It wasn't the first time I downloaded it and then anyway I went to a site specializing in custom content thesimsresource.com and that is when my computer started to act funny. There was some video playing on a page and even if I closed firefox the video would still play. I restarted the computer and ran Zemana Antimalware and it detected something in the firefox toolbar which is powered by Norton. It might have messed a setting up because even though I removed what it found the Norton toolbar is still works. But now a game Wartune on facebook which I don't play but my brother played it just keeps loading a black screen over and over. It only happens in Firefox and it is not the first time it happened but the problem went away but now is happening again. I redownloaded Adobe Flash and it still doesn't work correctly. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? Thank you.

This option is for the GUI only and it controls whether ZAM UI should run or not when the system boots.

    Thanks.

I have not checked this option, but lately I get a dialog at system boot that informs me that Zemana AntiMalware could not be restarted. Why should it restart with this option not checked?
