Also a lot voters there will vote against it for being a HIPS instead of a game or AV or somethingh else thats rather simple. If the rating was hel;d here it would shed a much brighter light.

You have to read a few reviews to understand why people vote as they do. The comments there make the members of Wilders look like rocket scientists :)

Hello, Long time lurker of the site here. :)

Its interesting certain people feel able to discredit someone/something without also stating the facts. Id be interested to know, Blue Ring, why you feel this company are dishonest. Why ?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for posting this innerpeace, I have been looking at several products, including Zemana, but I wasnt aware this beta version is free for a year. So I'm going to try it out!

Having tried AKLT leak tester Zemana passed all on my computer. Which is more than can be said for some other products I was thinking of buying. (No Names)

Id be interested to know there is a superior cheaper product than Zemana out there that can pass tough tests. o_O? (as a bit of a newbie im not sure if AKLT test is hard as it gets. But im impressed Zemana handled it with ease)

    Thanks!

(Blue Ring, give me the juicy details of what they are doing that is soo dishonest, please) :thumb:

What tests do you think are "tough" ? :)

BTW. A test is ether passed or failed. I do not understand how s/w can pass the tests "easily" ..

it doesnt encrypt keystrokers like keyscrambler, it instead uses heuristic/behavioral analysis to detect keyloggers, and in turn also provides a sort of quiet HIPS function with its system defence module.

BTW. As far as I see AKLT collects all the techniques real keyloggers use, this is why AKLT should be regarded as a "must pass" test. Actually, this doesn't matter in what code some particular technique is shelled, the principle stays the same.

Agree everything above but downloads of music files etc are sometimes tainted with malware, trojans etc.I come across them during downloads from time to time and is why I download them in virtualization burn them and disregard them from my pc when done..I think thats what jmonge was saying about keyloggers he found. Yes limewire maybe adware/spyware free but it is not 100 percent malware free when downloading shared files.

If your a long time lurker of the site as you say, you should already know the answer to your question. I've already explained why I don't like Zemana more than once. Go read my past posts on the subject. I'm tired of repeating myself on this topic, especially to someone with only 1 post on the forums. I smell a troll.
