Not counting chocolate-covered insects, which were a short-lived (I think) rage in my college days, probably the most adventurous thing I ever tried was octopus. Unfortunately what I got from the store was canned in a strong oil-tomato sauce, so I still don't know what it really tasted like. Very rubbery in texture, though.
