    Hello!

I have been using U3 for a while, but i am changing to PortableApps now. I was disappointed with U3. They have nice programs that you can use but using it is very difficult!

I would like to know about your experiences on U3 and PortableApps?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

To sum it up Zoolander style:

    U3 bad

:D I am starting to get the feel now. I have just installed everything i need on my Usb stick from PortableApps. It is so much easier to use. Only thing i miss is Skype!

You may want to have a look HERE Post #13 in particular. This is back from 2005 but seems to fit your situation.

I originally liked U3 too but soon tired of all the extra time it took load. While I really appreciate everything Mr.Haller has done (and I do use some of his work), I don't bother with his PortableApps menu. With more than 2GB of things on my USB drive, a menu just isn't practical... ;)

My exp was about half the portable apps were truely portable. When tried on another computer they didn't work.
