Today, one of my family members, to whom I installed Prevx SafeOnline facebook version, came to me telling me that SafeOnline disappeared out of nowhere.
Sadly, I had forgotten to alert that there's an issue with it (version 3.0.5.206), that when switching users it would no longer load. Then, I was asked why would I install such an application, and more over why I didn't alert for it. I said I didn't know. And, I didn't, until very recently, after reading one thread here.

My point is: I'm a person who regularly comes in here and is aware if some problem exists or not.
It is my belief that a current situation status should be provide at the facebook version page to let users know there are XYZ issues with it. So that possible people installing know before hand what to expect, and not blindly trust it.

    Regards

P.S: The same for the paid products, I guess. Specially in these ones, as they're being paid for, and so the customers have the right to know whether or not the product they're about to pay will function or not.

Prevx has created way to many "versions" this past year. One a day? They have got to solidify the base and forget about the pests that poke holes in the fabric. It really has been a negative to see the number of updates needed this year to keep up. Just my 2 cents Joe, but it is the truth.

To me the reason not to rush Joe or Prevx for V4 until it's ready! I know everyone wants the newest and the latest I just want to see a very strong security program become even stronger! IMHO

Any determined attacker will get around any product if they spend enough time on it. Unlike most vendors, we prefer to fix issues as quickly as possible and then get a new release out. The beta updates to the forum come out much more frequently than our live releases - I just counted them and in the last 12 months, we've had 24 live releases. Between improvements and bugfixes, this is directly on track from what our goals are. We're hardly trying to "keep up" with the attackers - they are spending a massively disproportional time working on trying to break the product from how long it takes to fix it. It may take a day or two to get a release out to the public, but none of these fixes have taken more than two hours to complete from the start of the research to the finished build.

That goes further with m00nbl00d's post - by the time we synchronize the post, the issue will be fixed, which is why we don't have a changelog posted on the website.

You mentioned to me, in one other thread, that the facebook version won't be updated anytime soon, and perhaps only after 3.0.5.210 comes out, so people will keep downloading it without being aware of what is happening with version 3.0.5.206. They should know what problems this release has. Had I known this was happening, before I installed it to family members, I wouldn't do it, at all. Give them the hassle of rebooting the system every time they switch users? (Simply re-executing it won't suffice.) Thank you, but no thank you.

    Sorry, but it's my opinion.

    -Edit-

By the way, my family members still use it, but they know, now, that they should know before hand whether or not they will do home banking.

I think I made it sound like I removed it. I haven't. ;) But, many people aren't aware.

We'll be putting out a new update for the Facebook version and other versions soon but the user switching issue was somewhat isolated. It did happen to some users but not all - users can download the main release off of our website and request a Facebook-equivalent license from us if needed in the meantime.

Great to know! You know, day after day I'm enjoying a lot more Prevx support team, and Prevx itself. The way one works says a lot!
