    hi
    immediately after scanning my c drive, the pc gives me a file name and a number 4 after it and says that the file is locked. i didnt put that file there and i dont know what it is. it could be a virus what do u suggest i do? and also, while scan, it gives 5 files with problems annd when i press clean one of them has disappeared.

    Can you post a copy of your NOD32 scanner log? Go to the tray icon, NOD32 scanner logs, double click the latest log, right click and copy, paste in a post here.

    Error 4 means the file is locked by Windows and only Windows can use the file.

    That is at it should be, 4 files locked, just check filename to be sure. They are the files in use by windows

    HI, if you go to the log in the Nod32 Control center it will give you info on the viruses removed.

    Notes:
    [4] File cannot be open. It is being exclusively used by another application or operating system.

    thats it...hiberfil.sys and pagefil.sys. in the more latest scans, hiberfil.sys is dissappeared but it dosent have those logs

    You are running a keygenerating crack program? or at least have one installed correct?

    and those 2 appear all the time.

    They are files in use and locked by the OS (Windows). Perfectly normal :)

    yes i was using a keygen. and hiberfil file is not being detected any longer.
    also, whenever i start my computer, the windows media player starts automatically and so does windows messenger. i disabled its run at startup option but still...
