Yahoo paid email or something else?

    Careful, Lavabit free accounts are NOT as secure as most people think. The Elliptical Curve Encryption is for paid accounts only. For free, you get SSL. That's it. Oh, and they put your ip address in you mail headers.

    Something to keep in mind is that ALL email activity (among other things) is monitored by various tap-in points of government. If you want to avoid this, GPG your stuff or use a service that does end to end encryption.


    (Anyone else think this email service provider topic should be a sticky?)
