    i, too click on link from an offline message, and guess what, it sends messages to everyone on my list and i cant stop it, good thing i saw this forum and tried hijack this and it worked, thanks a lot,

    One answer listed states correctly that svhost.dll is running and not svchost.dll

    there is a simply registry fix and instructions of how to delete svhost.dll in the yahoo forum shown in this link.

    usually the virus disables task manager so not possible to stop svhost.dll running except by the registry fix or killbox.exe
