Does anyone still use Yahoo Mail? It's been rubbish for a long time.

I tried it many years back but got frustrated with the constantly changing screen layout among other annoyances including ads. Just give me a local client (Outlook or other) and I'm happy.

Ditto. :thumb: ....but I just tried an older Yahoo Mail account with Firefox/ABP and encountered no anomalies (and the mail account has "Full Featured" enabled).

I'm not seeing that. Yet. I'm running Adblock Plus with EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Fanboy's Annoyance and Spam404 subscriptions.

Using Yahoo! Mail for over a decade, I'm loathe to dump it as it's my email of record for about 40 active forums. And Papa John's Pizza online specials. It's less work to deal with their occasional, simple annoyances than it would be to delete the account. I haven't used it for anything new for about four years and read everything in Pop Peeper with an IMAP login anyhow.

I'd suggest anyone seeing that should maybe try their Basic Mail using this login page:

Well, in my part of the world... Do a google, um, yahoo! search for reverting to Basic Mail if that doesn't work.

I have one I use as a signup email. Just checked it - I use the lists with uBlockO which brings up warnings on some other websites but not so far with Yahoo Mail.

I have a Yahoo! address, but I rarely user it. However, I never understood why people like to bash Yahoo! and say that their email service is bad...

Back on topic... Fortunately, for now I don't see any problems with uBlock, and I hope things will stay like this.

I have three accounts with Yahoo! Mail, no problems thus far.

    Probably due to this:

I use Yahoo mail as recovery mail only. So far no problems while using uBlock Origin. I hope that they will keep it as test only and later abandon this idea.

Same over here, but I'm using the basic version, the advanced versions of both Yahoo Mail and Gmail are shockingly bad, way too heavy and bloated. But I do think that Yahoo Mail is still quite good, I have been using it for over 15 years.

I don't see any ads, and even without an adblocker it wasn't that bad.

The thing that I don't understand is why all other Yahoo sites look like crap, I would feel ashamed if I was Yahoo's CEO.
