My home page is yahoo; lately when I am at my home page and select to play one of the videos shown I am being transferred to Yahoo News and the video I initially selected attempts to load but never does. I emailed Yahoo several days ago but have not received any reply. Has or is anyone else experiencing this problem? Terribly annoying and I am about to switch to another home page. I have had yahoo for years. I almost forgot, at times I am being asked to allow storage by s.ytimg.com and d.yimg.com. This is related to Adobe Flash and may have some bearing.

As always I appreciate all replies and would thank you in advance.

    John

John, you hit the nail on the head. Both domains are necessary and a WHOIS reveals why: ytimg.com & yimg.com.

Absolutely correct. "yimg" is an abbreviation for "yahoo images". Learned that one a long time ago using NoScript.
