Xplorer2 Lite is malicious?

    I read a few good things in here about Xplorer2 Lite, I downloaded it from main site & then at cnet - both times Zone Alarm tells me it's a malicious file?

    any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

    CustomHVAC, just downloaded it from their site and my AVG 9 remained quiet. Uploaded it to VirusTotal and out of 41 AV engines, only eSafe showed it as a "suspicious file."

    Looks like a false positive and perhaps contacting ZA could be your best course of action.

    Re-started computer, Updated ZA (last updated 1 about aweek ago) & I tried the download again - This time NO ALERT? Downloaded & installed with no problem. Not sure how that fixed it, but happy there's no more alert!

    Looked like a pretty cool program (lite, quick, options...)

    CustomHVAC, more than likely, someone reported the program as a false positive in that one week interim, and ZA corrected its virus definitions, thus no alert.

    Advice: update ZA daily, since new malware is discovered every day!
