XpHome support end....

    is ubutunta easy to use, i downloaded the iso disk, but havent been able to burn to disk, (600+ mb's) :) i hope so, i can learn, but i hope it's not just command line stuff.

    The end of mainstream support phase for Windows XP Home will now be December 31, 2008. They may add an extra 6 months to this later, like they did for Windows 98, since XP Home is quite popular.

    The life cycle website also mentions that consumer products do not have an extended support phase, and yet they mention that extended support for Windows XP Home will end 5 years after mainstream support ends. :doubt:
