XP SP2 Services

    Hi,

    I have a problem with my services.msc
    Each time I format and reinstall my windows. There are no "Alerter", "Workstation" and some other services.

    But after my format today, those services appear. I install my sp1 and then update to sp2 without other installations. Does that mean my previous windows installation is screwed up? o_O

    Hey LokiLoki. I wouldn't worry some services are removed with the instalation of SP2 to try and make windows more secure, and some are changed. Visit www.blackviper.com or www.theeldergeek.com for more info on services. Hope this helps, T

    No need for SP1 - SP2 is cummulative.
