Despite the message that the XeroBank forum will be “back in a few days,” it has been missing-in-action for a few weeks.

What’s going on at XeroBank these days?

    Two possibilities come to mind:

    1) they're bogged in an overly-ambitious new-product rollout (recall, e.g., Chandler)
    2) they've moved on to gamma et alia

    I'm curious too, FWIW.

OpenSSH? The paid XeroBank service uses OpenVPN, and I can't imagine that it'd be giving me 2.3 Mbps via Tor. You must be referring to the free XeroBank browser, which does use Tor.

Well, there is the fact that the VPN does work :D

Some may recall that XeroBank initially didn't even have a support forum -- other than Wilders ;)

Yea its kinda sad. I have my hopes high for Xerobank. But when they dont answer emails and go MIA its kind of concerning. C'mon Xerobank

Yes of course it does. Xerobank uses OpenVPN which encrypts all your traffic regardless of which port it's leaving from.

you can verify this yourself by using connecting to their VPN, and opening Wireshark (or other packet sniffer), and monitoring your network traffic.

Perhaps there was too much segmentation, and/or someone critical dropped out. We shall see, or not ;)
