    Anyone every experienced the following;

    -
    ( X ) Local Users and Groups

    Unable to access the computer (_?_). The error was: Library not registered.
    -

    Better Question would be if anyone knows how to resolve this without reinstalling Windows XP Pro…?

    False sense of Security; Having any involvement with one Recommending to-do an “Repair” of an Operating System that of which can have an serious impact on ones Machine and they would most likely of been better off doing an fresh Installing of Microsoft Windows Operating System rather then to hassle around with “Repair” ill side-effects.

    And I don’t feel like taking another round repairing the Microsoft Windows “Repair” ill side-effects… I was capable of repairing the problem using just one Command string, which is totally better then to follow Microsoft’s Online Help Advise…

    I appreciate you efforts into assisting me resolve that problem, Thanks Pieter_Arntz. :D

    Hi Cynder,

    I´ll play stupid and take that as a compliment. :D

    Try using the REGTLB utility to register the activeds.tbl
    You´ll find it here:

    If you register the following files then this problem is fixed.

    activeds.dll
    activeds.tlb

    I used this proggie (freeware):
    http://www.arithex.com/reggie.html

    fixed my issue.

    :) :D
