WSA v8.0.4.48 BETA

Just got it.

 

I guess Webroot had forgotten to change the version number.

After updating to the latest v8.0.4.48, It still shows v8.0.4.46 under "About SecureAnywhere".

 

Can you try to do a clean reinstall of the Beta with a reboot in between? And I think they need to update the Copyright to 2014.

I did a clean install of the beta with a reboot but I have version .46 still

 

Yes the Beta file still says .46 as I just downloaded a fresh copy

Hi Dan,

I had an issue updating to VS v1.30, and had to rollback via System Restore which saved my bacon.

However, it took me back to WSA v8.0.4.46

 

Does it try to update to .48? And I had no issues with VS 1.30.

Because I have SSM, this is the popup I got the other day, for v8.0.4.48.



I saved the installer so I could rerun it, and get this beta reinstalled.

But, since you haven't got it, yet, maybe I should wait.

 

We rolled back .48 to .46 as we're investigating a possible issue at the moment on the backend. It might not be caused by the agent update but we're just looking to reduce variables.

 

I'll wait until it comes through, again.
