Did you try a clean reinstall? If not please uninstall reboot and download a fresh copy here http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe and make sure you have a copy of you're keycode as you will need it during reinstall and Please report back.

    Thanks,

    TH

    Thanks.
    It was a clean install.
I have been away of WSA for many months before I come back to it, and I downloaded the latest version from my.webroot.com last week.
Is there a utility to do a complete cleanup, including registry entries?

    Regards,
    François

P.S. Is there a way to save the current config?

No need to as WSA does a good job of uninstalling, but we will wait for a reply from Joe.

    Thanks,

Correct, the uninstaller removes everything. If you previously had an old version and haven't rebooted between upgrades, then it may be worth rebooting. You can import/export configuration options under Settings.

    (Note: I'm running XP SP3.)

    First, I uninstalled and rebooted.
After reboot, I noticed, when checking in the system's devices manager, with show non-plug'n'play devices activated, that WRkrn driver as still there.
I uninstalled it and rebooted once again.
After reboot I reinstalled 8.0.2.127 and did another reboot.
    Problem is still there...
Eats a character here and there in HTTPS.
No precise pattern to provide, it's not behaving always the same way.

I suggest writing into our support inbox and having them take a look at your system to see what's causing it. I'm not aware of any other current cases but perhaps they will be able to find some incompatible driver on your system.

    Let me know your results!

    Done, thanks.
I'll followup here when/if we find the culprit.

Already got a reply from Support:

Nice to know, but of course, putting the browser in allow mode is defeating the software's purpose.

I´m willing to try it out ( v8.0.2.127) on my WinXP system with DefenseWall Personal FW Edition,but...after booting up (couple of hours later),my Alcohol 120% virtual drive just gone M.I.A,and there´s a message : " Loading Alcohol device drivers failed ! Emulation options and native driver interface of Alcohol 120% will not be available ! ". DW and Alcohol 120% work just fine together. The only new part of equation is WSA.
    Google didn´t help much...?
