Got it also, but believe it's a release version? :)

Had to manually update. Super impatient.
What's the "General RealTime Shield functionality" ?

kjdemuth, I don't think Webroot provide too many technical details in their release notes. By "general", I think it'll be some tweaks to the realtime agent responsible for picking up known detections on read/write file access. This could include speed increases on realtime file access, communication with the cloud etc.

Yeah I was just curious. Figured I'd ask.

Might this be the reason for my router making tonight every 3x minutes a new connection to internet while I was logged out from my Win7 user account (SSD maintenance)? - Normally my router disconnects after 20 minutes of no data traffic and connection stays the night off, so I do wonder if this is somehow connected to this new feature? New behaviour started on 26th of February according to router logfile.

And is there a way to disable this checking for updates while user isn't logged in? I don't need this feature at all and think my router should stay offline at night as it was used to.

Yes, I could shut down the system. :D - But since I don't want to do that obviously also Webroot could make it somehow possible to have it the way it was until the day before yesterday. I would also for other reasons very much prefer if WSA would only update when I am logged in as user. Maybe they have a switch implemented or are going to do that now? :D - If this isn't possible I wonder if they could at least adjust the interval of updating when logged off. I think 2 times per hour is way too often.

Much more I would appreciate if the user could (via context menue of WSA icon) update -> in that exact moment if there is an update available. In the past sometimes I read about an updated version here for example and then I did try to update but nothing was delivered. That should implemented, updating while logged off I really don't need here. ;)

p.s.: But maybe WSA isn't the culprit here? It's so far just an unverified assumption. :) - Waiting for Joe. :)
