    Hello,

I noticed yesterday that the green lock on WSA Tray icon disappears when I log into my Gmail account. If I hover the Tray icon, it only says "Protected". If I double click on the Tray icon - which opens the user interface - and then close the user interface, the green lock comes back. If I then hover on the Tray icon, it says "The foreground window is protected by Identity Shield" - as it always should.

    Please note that:

This happens only with Firefox (v17.0.1), whether I run it sandboxed or not. I don't get that bug with IE9.

It doesn't happen with other https websites such as my banking site or Hotmail. (so far, it's only with Gmail).

    Anybody else is experiencing that?

    p.s.: I am currently running WSA v8.0.2.85

Unlike what I said in my previous post, I am now experiencing that issue with other https webpages... but not all of them!

    Anyone has an idea? o_O

    Thanks

I believe it may be related to the 64bit version of your Browser in Windows 7. I had the same problem with Opera 64bit. You should likely open a support ticket to clear it up!?

If it's a 64-bit browser, does WSA actually "officially" support 64-bit browsers?

Not sure about FF, but somewhere I recall that Opera 64 bit was not supported. However I submitted a support ticket and after several log files submitted they tracked it down. Is working A1 now.

As far as I know, there is still no official 64-bit release of FF for Windows, and this is why I am running FF 32-bit on my Win7 x64 (I know of unofficial 64-bit versions based on FF, such as Waterfox and PaleMoon, but haven't yet tried it).

I will follow your advice and open a support ticket.

Native 64bit browsers aren't necessarily supported but I suspect the next release of WSA should improve support for them.
