The RunGuard function in RegRun 4.1 and WormGuard appear to overlap somewhat. Both start up when I try to start up a saved webpage for example. I wonder how far the redundancy goes. Runguard seems to offer more options in this situation than WG eg it offers a virus check.

    Hi there!
Never a bad idea to have a second opinion as long as they don't conflict.
Each seems to do different things, WormGuard checks for malicious code, scripts, worms, double extensions and lots more, and you can even add more files you want to be checked or blocked completely.
Can only tell you it saved my computer's life really various times.

I've actually seen quite a few times that one will pick up on something that the other doesn't. There is some overlap, but I think it's worth it to keep both.
