I installed 5.2.9 just today, December 3rd 2012. It caused all kinds of problems in my Win8 laptop with Outlook 2010. I'm beyond livid at this point. Trying to uninstall it and it has been stuck for almost an hour. WTF!!!!

How do I get my machine backo_Oo_Oo_O??

The uninstall says it is not on my machine. The installer says it is on my machine. It can't be both.

    I need a remover tool.

Would be nice to hear from the company after seriously hosing up my machine.

    Thank you.

It completely hosed up Outlook. I think I have to reinstall office now. At least eset is gone, but really screwed up my machine. And there is a lack of detail on how to boot into safe mode with win 8, which I figured out.

This version is not ready for prime time on win 8 at all.

ESET may want some info on your particular setup. It is supposed to be compatible with Win8.

Can you provide us with some additional information about your system, including:
    • Brand and model of laptop computer

    • How Windows 8 was installed on the laptop (preloaded, upgrade of prior OS, clean install...)
