Won't run, won't uninstall, won't reinstall

After two years of flawless operation Prevx has decided to get stroppy on my Win7 32bit system.

I noticed today that the SOL icon was missing from webpages and that there was no tray icon. No matter what I do I couldn't get the icons to reappear. Prevx service was running according to Task Manager though. Reboot in normal or safe modes doesn't allow me to start, uninstall or reinstall Prevx.

I've uninstalled Prevx using Revo Uninstall and deleted the Prevx prog folder but I still can't reinstall it.

Any ideas please.

 

OK. Forget this message. I've just found the Prevx uninstaller that forces an uninstall. Ran that and reinstalled, entered my license - and I'm back in business.

Surprising how naked I felt without Prevx on the system!

 

Glad to hear you've fixed it One note is that Revo Uninstaller and other uninstall tools can cause substantial problems in future installations as they won't be able to uninstall Prevx fully.
