    Hi,

I am having a problem with my wireless connection. I can connect online with the cord, but when I move my lap to around the wireless connection icon is red and it won't connect.

I have been intouch with bigpond and the tech guy said that I need to reconfigure NOD thing. As we did some tests and there is nothing wrong with the modem and there SOmething about a firewall blocking it?

No idea about this sort of stuff, so I hope I explained myself.

    thanks
    Andrea

    Hi andojane, welcome to Wilders.

NOD32 does not contain a firewall, so Bigponds assumption of NOD32's ability to block your connection because it contains a firewall is incorrect.

Do you have an actual firewall such as ZoneAlarm or Outpost? If so you will need to look in the appropriate program and allow a connection.

You could also try repairing your Windows Winsock layer and then IMON as described HERE

    Cheers :D
