WinXP vs Win7

    If I take a backup of windows xp using Backup & Recovery 10 Free Edition, then install windows 7, and later want to go back to XP; will that be possible using the windows 7 edtition of the backup software.

    To restore back to your Windows XP state, you have to use the Backup & Recovery CD that's recommended to create after your installation. Boot to the CD, locate the archive image, and restore the image to a new partition or an existing partition.
