    WinUtilities 9.1

please note that the above is free for the rest of the day at Giveaway of the Day. Also please note that an excellent independent software analyst has given his thoughts on this software as to it's suitability for the average user. The software can be found along with the review by Ashraf here

WinUtilities and Perfect Utilities appear to be the same program, made by the same firm ylcomputing.com, only Perfect Utilities is free.

On Perfect Utilities forum though there are reports of the latest version 3.03 installs rkinstall.exe & rkverify.exe

Just thought this may be worth a heads up for anyone who installs the giveaway as on Ashrafs site someone reports that WinUtilities installs into the folder …/perfect utilities

I have just tried both versions

The Giveawayoftheday appears to be clean.

The Perfect Utilities 3.03 does contain spyware, there is a checkbox to give the choice whether to install relevant knowledge or not.
However Avira still gives warnings the spyware is being installed.

It would appear to be the same firm that produces these two programs.

According to Ashrafs site they are both one and the same firm and program, only Perfect Utilities contains spyware.
