Do I need to add anything to Winpatrol Plus + Taskcatcher. I have Avast and LNS also.

Tried Cyberhawk but doesn't like Avast. Flagged it to Cyberhawk support. Waiting to see whether there is an answer.

    Any other free recommendations?

    Hello,
What does it mean do I need? What for?
Are you going to test malware with setup or are you going to use p2p or are you going to browse cnn site only or . . . or . . .
Personally, I would not use WinPatrol / TaskCatcher, not because they are not good, but because I do not need them. The best item you can have is an alternative browser to IE, and if you got some brains you will take care of the rest by simple logic - emails, links in emails, click here, click there, viagra dls boosts etc...
But telling about your habits could help.

    Thanks for the reply.

Just normal Joe Public (with engineering degree, so pretty logical) who is already using Firefox.

Problem with humans is they are fallible, hence, my desire to stack the odds in my favour.

Any alternative viewpoints other than trust in the Force?

    Hello,
The Force has not failed me in the last 6 or so years since Internet became a daily commodity, despite massive porn temptations.
Alternative viewpoints - have your data backed up regularly, know how to start from scratch - format and onwards . . .
