Just to let folks know n8chavez did contact support and has been helped so that his code was entered properly to activate the PLUS realtime features.

But I should also point out that testing the realtime detection can't be done that easily anyway.
    From our help page, http://www.winpatrol.com/rid.html

    Thanks,
    Bill

Thank you Bill. Top notch support.

That would have been good to know beforehand. Ok, that being the case how can I test WP's real-time monitoring capabilities to make sure everything is working as it should?

That's a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion. I've completed the test with WP+2007 and there are rather mixed. I will email these to Bill and see what he has to say.

WinPatrol 2007 Plus is a very decent application I added to my security setup.
Light, Effective, and most importantly, it has presented NO Conflict with the rest
    of my programs. :thumb:

That is very true. I think for the first time, after years of trying various applications, I've finally completed/finalized my setup. And, the best part is, all my bases are covered.

I recently wrote an email to Bill addressing some concerns I had and features that I thought should be implemented within WP. I mentioned a couple of things; 1. That I thought service monitoring should be real-time, and 2. That it would be nice if WP had the ability to monitorboth critical registry keys and those the users wishes to have monitored.

I was told today that both of these features will be implemented in the (near) future.
This is very good news!! :thumb:

I hope, however, that if real-time, it stays as lightweight on memory and cpu as it is. Or it should have an option for non-realtime.
Actually, not being realtime is the reason why I choose WP. I don't want a resource hog.
