Windows XP Professional 64 Bit

    I have the latest version of Acronis True Image and it seems it doesn't support windows xp pro 64 bit edition (more than likely the drivers are 32 bit) when can we expect a 64 bit version of this software?

    Hello Terrance,

    Here is <Acronis Support's latest reply on the subject>.

    You can obtain TI's basic functionality of imaging and restoring by temporarily installing TI onto a Win 32bit machine, creating a bootable rescue CD and then deinstall TI. As the rescue CD boots you into a Linux environment you can use it to backup and restore a Win 64 bit system.
