Whilst trying to find native 64 bit programs for Windows X64, I thought it may be of interest to start a thread where members could either add to or see what native 64 bit programs are available.

Finding drivers for X64 can also be problematic but I have had no trouble with my GFX card, Sound card or Canon printer.

This thread is not for 32 bit user mode programs that work with x64 as most do.

Anyway I'll kick off with a few that I have found so far.

    Sysintermals Process Explorer http://www.sysinternals.com

SiSoft's Sandra Free and paid for versions: http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html?dir=&location=downandbuy&langx=en&a=

GhostSecurity Suite Beta (RegDefend and AppDefend): See the Ghost forums above.

    Eset's NOD32 - See forums above

In addition to Sysinternals Process Explorer the latest versions of Filemon and Regmon are also designed for x64.

and Raxco's Perfect Disk defragger: see the announcement on their site. Their install program identifies whether to install the 32 or 64 bit versions, beginning with Version 7 - biuld 46 released about Nov 29th, 2005.

but not First Defense ISR (yet). Not having FDISR for 64 bit is a show stopper for me, no FDISR, no Vista either.

WinPcap 3.2 alpha1 is available from today in the download section of the website. This is the first version of WinPcap that includes the long-awaited support for the x86-64 platforms, for the moment in experimental version. More details can be found in the changelog."
