Installed it without any problems. My first impression, Vista seems snappier, my Windows Experience Index base score went up from 4.7 to 4.8 (huge difference!). Most importantly everything seems to work flawlessly. Downloading the ISO image and installation took 2.5 hours.

Got mine tonight thru Win Updates. Size was 567MB for x64, but only took about 15 minutes to install fully. Not bad... No issues whatsoever. Looking good here.... :thumb:

FYI if you use Compcln.exe after install you can reclaim around 800mb disc space. But if you do that you cannot uninstall the service pack.

Out of curiosity, how would you go about uninstalling the service pack? I do have an image with ShadowProtect, but is there another way?

Thanks, I knew of that list, but I didn't know it allowed to uninstall updates as Windows by default creates a restore point in System Restore.

SP2 installed without problems. Startup and shutdown times have improved and everything is a bit more responsive. Nice change!!!

    Hello,

I have Windows Vista SP1. The language is English.

Why haven't I received the SP2 update in my Windows Update yet?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

I had a bit of bad luck with SP2, after installation, I found that explorer kept crashing on me at weird times. So I had to lose Vista for now. Might try again another time and see how it goes, but no good for me....

    Thanks for the info.
What about SP2 for other languages?
Have to wait for a month or so?
