Should be way to manually re-check. Might be good if there was a date indicating the checking.

I'm having a computer which is having difficulty getting Windows Updates and NOD32 is a useful barometer.

Is there a way to check this status manually by querying the windows update service from the command line for instance?

It didn't seem accurate anyway. It had the wrong number of updates. (37). The wrong list of updates. It was more accurate yesterday when the message first appeared. Now there are 25, and they are mostly office related. I have rebooted in the interim. I am running XP, and installed these using the old windows update service (45). Now I am using Microsoft Update, which finally works.
