I'm having some issues this morning with my home server running Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x64 having BSOD. I installed the latest Microsoft security updates last night.

Just before every BSOD in event manager I have this event:

The ESET Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: Restart the service.

    I have the following installed:

    EAV 4.0.437.0
    Virus signature database: 5357 (20100811)
    Update module: 1031 (20091029)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1284 (20100729)
    Advanced heuristics module: 1110 (2010080:cool:
    Archive support module: 1119 (20100806)
    Cleaner module: 1048 (20091123)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1020 (20100713)
    SysInspector module: 1216 (20100517)
    Self-defense support module : 1016 (20100404)

I have attached two minidump files renamed to txt, which will need changed back to .dmp files.

As a precaution I have disabled real time scanning for now. Anyone able to help?

Does the crash occur on a regular basis? If so, could you try disabling Anti-Stealth and Self-defense, one at a time, followed by a computer restart to see if the problem disappears?

The crash only started happening this morning, the last thing I did to the server was install the latest patches from Microsoft released yesterday. I've never had any crash problems since originally installed NOD32. Should I re-enable real time scanning before trying your suggestions? Since I disabled realtime scanning everything has been fine, is it worthg updating NOD32 to the latest build?

After having a look at the logs in Event Viewer I have come across a pattern before my server crashes.

Under Application in Event Viewer I receive the following error first before the crash:

Followed a few seconds later by this error recorded under System in Event Viewer:

I think my problem has been resolved by installing the newest build of NOD32 4.2.64.4 touch wood which Marcos provided me with. Unfortunately I couldn't generate a full dump file for some reason to give to ESET for analysis.

I was also running out of time to get my issue fixed....I'm away from home and need to access to my server to demo some software while onsite remotely and I can't have my server crash on me.
