As some of you may know, I have a Windows Home license, so I don't have group policy available. What are the most common and effective registry tweaks to make Windows 7 more secure against a huge broad spectrum of attacks?
if there are those were same as for pro or higher. eg https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com...e-on-the-dll-preloading-remote-attack-vector/ http://configuration-guide.com/how-to-enable-disable-administrative-shares/ Code: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters] "AutoShareWks"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "NoNetCrawling"=dword:00000001 i dont use any tweaks, those two also not. i you want a fast shot try "Ultimate Windows Tweaker 2.2" for Win7 "Ultimate Windows Tweaker 3.1.2.0" for Win8 nevertheless only a part of a concept but i can trash a system like failing updates and more. so only use with a restore point or image.
