Windows problem?

    Grrr, I've just recently disvoered, that, my "Send to" desktop (creatshortcut) thing, no longer works, it creates no shortcut, ANYPLACE! Now, I can get A shortcut, by creating a shortcut in the folder with the program, then dragging THAT shortcut to the desktop... but thats annoyying, any help would be appreciated..

    I believe you are using 98 ?

    now i've not used 98 for years and have forgot what little i knew, so i could be way off, but i believe you have to go into your "send to" folder which in 98 may be in WINDOWS folder and create a new shortcut there, its called DESKLINK or something.

    that might be what you are missing

    sorry couldn't help further but maybe it will refresh someone elses memory

    EDIT- try doing a search for SEND TO and see where the folder is, to see if link is missing

    I've got an old rig in the corner of one of the bedrooms, but i can't even remember where the power button is :D let alone much else :D
