windows media player issues

I hope this is the right place to post this concern. I did check to see if I could find a thread about this issue but didnt.

I'm useing limewire to do music and movies. After downloading "dukes of hazzard" (I tried to play it while it was downloading) and WMP opens up to play the movie and an error says can't play or something of that nature. I get that alot. How do I fix this problem?
