Windows Live Messenger problem

    Using Windows Live Messenger, is it common for the audio to be crystal clear when doing an audio only chat,
    and then have the audio become a little choppy once you add the video chat to it? If this is something normal and expected, then I am wasting a lot of my time trying to fix something that is supposed to act that way. We both have dsl connections. Please advise.

    not one reply since posting on june 24th.........should i assume that no one on here webcams using windows live messenger? (msn messenger :cool:.
