Is Windows Firewall + DSA sufficient protection? Also, is there anyway to block outbound connections with DSA? I only see that you can block applications from running. If so, whats some other programs like DSA that are light on resources?

I would suggest you swap DSA with ProSecurity 1.30 and see how it goes for a few weeks.

    DSA by itself is enough.

The new DSA disables Windows FW automatically.

    Does DSA meet this criteria?

Yes. DSA blocks all outbound connection attempts (direct and indirect).

The latest version was a little spotty on Server 2008. I don't know how well it will perform in XP.
