Webroot Security Anywhere (WSA) without any problem...
I guess, if you wait enough for users post, the list will include basically all AVs out there ;)

I have been running Windows Defender with Webroot and EMET 3.0 for about 2 weeks now and everything is really smooth. And when Webroot corrects the bug with "Protect" Firefox instead of "Allow", it will be great.

Windows Defender and back it up with Hitman Pro and you dont really need anything else.

Go with kingsoft AV 2012. Its light and very effective and problem free on win 8 pro. AVG workd good. So does trendmicro. Stay away from comodo internet security and AVAST on win 8 because for me AVAST crashed windows and had to reformat and comodo gives black screen.

I'm using Roboscan which doesn't officially support Windows 8 but is working fine. It definately is lighter than Windows Defender (which I disable on all my laptops, regardless of the os).

WSA has been trouble free for me on Win8. EAM has been pretty okay, with the exception of over-scrutinizing system apps for behavioral analysis or flagging for verification w/Emsisoft's cloud system. They indicated that should be fixed after an update today. OA is likewise a little weird on Win8, but I'm going to provide some logs and stuff to support to see whether they can figure out what's going on.
