Never hurts to ask a stupid question....so here goes... ......

Will new PC's / laptops only have Windows 8 loaded once the new OS comes out in October ?...and does Win 7 gets put into the bargain waste bin?

I'm trailing behind with most of my 'puters still on XP,and just started a few on Win7.........

Seems like I may have missed the boat on yet another OS o_O?

Oh well...luck of the Irish to be sure :D

If you are in the market for a new laptop or desktop now would be the time to start shopping and comparing prices. Stores like Staples and Office Depot will start having to move all of their current stock of Windows 7 computers shortly. Very good deals will be had. Just like when Vista went away.

LOL! Or maybe fold-able arm rests that are attached to the sides of a 24" touchscreen monitor.

    Hey tgell -cool!

I have noticed sales on at the moment - thought they are just moving out old 2nd generation Intel processor based stock with the 3rd generation coming in.

But I guess it also means the arrival of Win8 as well...

Looks like I may have to move my upgrade up sooner...

but still holding out for the 3rd generation i3'2 to hit the stores.

Should have nice battery life, and cooler running.

I'll keep my eye peeled. :shifty:

    thanks man.
