Windows 7 Tells You Why You Can't Touch That File

    Hopfully it does the same for usb drives. aka cannot safe remove the usb stick because program: is using file:

    most of the stuff microsoft is inplementing in to windows 7 really should on been in windows xp onwards.

    It'll be interesting to see whether 3rd-party apps can take advantage of this, or maybe already can if only the OS was Win7.

    Like many others, I use avast for my a-v, and it's quite common for an on-demand scan to report quite a few files that couldn't be scanned because "already in use".

    Hey,
    acually the files that avast cannot scan could be system files that can never be scanned. happerns with all AV's
