Windows 7 printing problem

I just installed Prevx Facebook edition 3.5.0.67 on windows 7 pro x32. After installing and restarting, I am unable to print anything - that is with my printer or even pdfs with pdfcreator. In microsoft word, I get an error message stating that windows is unable to print due to a printer error. I am unable to view printer properties of any printers in any program.
I have tried reinstalling printer drivers but no effect.
If I uninstall prevx and restart, everything is fine. If I reinstall, same problem...
Please help....

Welcome to the forum! Could you please try clicking Configure next to SafeOnline Browser Security on the front screen of Prevx and then lowering protection from Maximum to High by sliding the slider bar over one notch? Then, click Save and reboot your PC - this should correct the printing issues but please let us know if any problem persists and we will investigate further

So is there any way to keep the settings to maximum for https sites and not have the problem?

 

Glad to hear that has fixed it! We're working on a more generic solution but currently you will need to lower it to High but we will keep everyone updated as soon as we have a more generic solution

 

I am having the same issue as windows 7 problem. Whenever I try to print either by Word, NotePad or Acrobat the application crashes. Does any one have a fix for this?

 

Can you give us more info as to what OS and if your are using 32bit or 64bit and what version of Prevx are you using and all other security that is running with Prevx?
