Windows 32 Vs. 64

    What exactly is the speed and efficiancy differences of 64 bit windows to the classic 32 standard windows ?

    well for everyday usage (and particualrly games), teh difference is barely existant and sometimes 32-bit xp can do better.

    for some benchmarks and apps coded in 64-bit there can be an improvement tho.

    the biggest advantage of windows x64 is that can windows will have access to more physical memory.

    unfortunatly i tried it and it does not like me.
    Once i got it to install i found my digicamera does not work right,antivirus and firewalls are more scares than fairys in my garden and i dont see any difference !

    if the os and all your apps are coded to use 64 bits, code will run faster, and there will be a larger address space for programs.
