Windows 2003 DC & TI 8.0.933 Rescue Disc

    Hello,

    since some days, i can't connect to Windows 2003 DC's with actual MS Security Patches and TI 8.0.933 Rescue Discs anymore. Can anybody please re-check this problem? (Maybe changes in the MS policies prevent from accessing shares now?)

    Yes, i'll do - but it's very simple, i just try to log on to a share on a W2K3 DC over network with TI rescue disc. Simply no logon account is accepted...

    Hello Tender,

    I'm sure our Support Team will help you. I can recommend that you try to use not Administrator account but some other with Administrator's rights (if you haven't tried it yet).

    No share access on Windows 2003 DC Server from TI Bootdisc

    The problem still exists with a special account. No logins to to an actual patched W2K3 Server are possible. Furthermore, other users start to have the same problem:

    Try this: activate guest account on the Server (no security !!!)

    That doesn't work either. Just cannot connect to win2k3 thats patched.

    guest accounts allowed or not..

    this is strange, i wrote to support on tuesday and didn't get any # yet...

    We are in process of evaluation, our ICP Vortex problem is not that important for we will change these old controllers anyway, but the W2K3 login problem is kind of annoying. Can you please open a problem report for us? The point is, we find your product very suitable for backing several CTI & DC servers in W2K3 domains - but without beeing able to logon to up-to-date patched W2K3 machines for restore, it's, well, simply worthless...

    Also please download the latest build (937) and create new Acronis Bootable CD.

    Sure, I will tell you. The main fix of the new build is the fix for the account lockout in the network with Domain Controller.

    can you tell me, where i can download the new build ?
    I´m a registrated german user and under this Site:
    http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/support/updates/
    is build 935 (name of file build933 o_O) availably.

    Is 937 out or do you mean 935 ?
